"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign."

"I
support the Better Off Out
campaign because my generation
haven't lived in an independent
Britain. All we have witnessed
is capitulation after surrender
to Brussels of the sovereignty
we barely know. Thanks to
groups like this we can start
the campaign to reclaim British
national sovereignty and make
sure that we live in a country
governed from Westminster, a
government chosen by British
people and not faceless
Eurocrats."
|
|
George Anderton |
"I have made a few mistakes in
my life but none do I regret
more than voting to go into the
European Union in the 1975
referendum. I have become
increasingly convinced that it
is high time we left this
corrupt, undemocratic and costly
institution. It is an
extravagance we cannot afford.
That is why I support the BETTER
OFF OUT campaign."

"The Templars support any just causes and this is
exactly that. We have no problem with Europe-wide
co-operation in the interests of protectionism – which appears
to be the sole valid argument in favour of supra-nationalism -
however the EU totally oversteps the mark and infringes upon our
basic democratic rights of self-determination. We find
this fact in addition to the objectionable cost of membership to
be totally unacceptable."
|
|
Christopher Arkell |
"I am a
Better Off Out Tory - i.e. a BOOT boy.
My BOOT is aimed firmly at the fat rump of
Euroland. Once kicked energetically,
it will sag and collapse. Out of its
dying guts will crawl those nations it has
swallowed over the last 50-odd years.
This is a perennial activity, taking place
roughly twice a century (for the last 300
years or so)."

"One day I shall peer over the edge of my cloud and see what's going

David Austin |
"If you do not wish to lose your country,
along with its power over its own affairs, its culture and
its very identity, now is the time to act. The
European Union is at the present time in a state of flux.
The British people have long lost patience with it, as have
many of the other people of Europe - as I know from personal
experience. To do otherwise would, in the long run, be to
destroy Britain
financially, spiritually and culturally. Now is the
best chance you will ever get to claim back your
country, fully and completely. We, in Britain, should give
the rest of Europe an example and leave
as soon as possible."
|
|
Charles Ball |
"Good
stuff, people, lets get our country back and withdraw from the EU, a
centralised, undemocratic joke."
|
|
David Beagley |
"As founder of the
North Devon Branch of UKIP, I believe that the EU has effectively
invaded our country and our way
of life, dictating our every move. If we are to remain an
individual country we must get out. All the other parties want to
go for complete political union and this will financially and
politically cripple us. If we want to stay 'British and proud of
it' we must get out quickly before it is too late and the EU have taken
away our
right to self determination."
|
|
David Becalick |
"I attended the UKIP
conference and am trying to put issue above tribal loyalty which, I'm
afraid, is growing in UKIP, as the Conservatives, and their friends in
the press, fail time and time again to make the noises that are
required. If you want Britain out - come and join us - cross the
floor to the first-past-the-post-ante-room and join us like Christopher
Gill has just
done. Yes
this is bigger than party politics, but your party got us into this
mess and we expect you to change policy or join us. Soap Box
away."
|
|
Derek Bennett |
"As
from next year, 2007, our net payments to the EU will reach £6 billion.
Year on year we give this money and over the years we see our influence
as a nation diminish whilst the cost of membership increases. There is
little money for our hospitals, cancer patients have to sue for life
saving medication, our pensions are a massive black hole, our council
taxes continue to rise and our Chancellor continues to find even more
devious ways to tax us. Lets keep our money in the UK for our benefit,
not to be squandered, lost and swallowed in fraud in the EU. I agree,
we can be nothing else but better off out of the EU."

"The
EU is undemocratic, corrupt, wasteful,
extremely expensive, outdated,

unnecessarily interfering and thoroughly
damaging to our way of life, our laws,

Chris Birks

"Please get us out of the
European Union now!
Britain's heritage is slowly
being chipped away by the
faceless European
Bureaucrats making the
decisions and over-riding
our Legal Systems.
Britain is better off out.
Turkey is the next country
to join the EU. Do we
really want all those
extremists and asylum
seekers coming to Britain
and making it even more of a
hell-hole?? Let's do
something about it, BETTER
OFF OUT!!"
|
|
Mary Bower |
"A
strategy must be formed to give the
people of Britain a referendum on
Europe. We are being denied an
opportunity to be heard. The sooner we
leave the European Community the better
for our country. I fully support Better
Off Out."
|

Carole Bragg |
"The
only people who still support the EU are the ones who are on, or
hoping to get on the gravy train."
|
|
John Broughton |
"Leaving the corrupt EU is the only way that the UK can regain its
independence and take control of our destiny again. 80% of our
legislation is created in Brussels and rubber stamped by an inept
committee in Westminster, what a shame that only 6 MPs had
sufficient time to attend the launch of BETTER OFF OUT and start the
process to regain their integrity and worth to their fellow
Britons."

"This campaign has my
support. The disadvantages of being part of the EU far outweigh
any gain we might make by continued membership. It is time for
politicians to listen to those whom they claim to represent and take
note of, an act on, the views of the electorate of this country."
|
|
Gerard Carroll |
"I certainly support
the better off out campaign. I want to know why eurosceptic
politicians, particularly Tory ones, have not pointed out to the British
Public that the recession following "black Wednesday" was nothing to do
with Thatcherite economics, but purely the result of Norman Lamont's
(and other europhiles across all parties) ill starred attempt to buck
the market in the interest of "ever closer union". I think any
credible campaign to get us out of the EU quangocracy has to have the
above as an element of the campaign, and it might go some way to
rehabilitate the Tory party’s (the eurosceptic wing at least) reputation
for economic probity. After all, Gordon Brown is guilty of at
least as much waste of UK foreign and gold reserves if the truth be
known."
|
|
Jonathan Cheal |
"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign."
|
|
Carole Chesters

"My
initial feelings that the Common
market would be of no benefit to
the UK has born fruit. Yet I
would even be prepared to return
to that, than the shambles which
the EU has become. It is our
money that keeps most of Europe
in prosperity whilst our
hospitals, not theirs, are a
shadow of their former selves.
Our prisons are bursting with
foreign born (guests) and crime
is allowed to increase to
terrifying new levels. We need
the chance to use our money to
improve the rail transport, it
needs to be cheap, like most of
their subsidised railways are,
it needs to take most of the
heavy loads from off our roads,
we need to have our streets free
of the huge lorries that are
going to finish off what Hitler
began. I know the powers think
that we must support the EU to
prevent war, well that's a
joke!! Anyhow Norway and
Switzerland prove how much
better off we should be.
Perhaps we could then find time
to address the fishing industry
and still buy our butter from
New Zealand."
|

John

"I am convinced our country
would be better off outside
the EU not just economically
but we would again be a
proud independent nation
free to form alliances with
whoever we like, as we have
been for hundreds of years.
And free to make our own
laws and repeal them if they
don't work. The idea
of becoming a mere
subservient state in a
federation called Europe is
to me abhorrent. We
have been dictated to by
unelected bureaucrats in
Brussels for far too long."
|
|
Dane Clouston |
"Many thanks for what you are
doing."
|
|
Theresa
Cole |
"The money we
contribute to the the European Union could be put to much better use if
it were to stay in this country. I can see no benefits to our
country in staying in Europe - only negatives."
|
|
John Coles |
"Well
done - at last, a Tory MP who has the courage to say publicly what the
majority think privately. If this was party policy, we'd be points
ahead in the Polls. Instead we have "Vote Blue, Go Green."
Yes and puke technicolour. Anyway, good for you Mr Davies."
|

Andrew Constantine

"While sceptical of
the EU for some years, it was only recently that I
understood what a threat it represents to our
Parliamentary democracy. Even in my own area of
expertise (corporate tax) which is supposedly not a
competence of the EU, recent ECJ judgements by its
federally minded judges have undermined the UK's tax
system and hit our public finances. I feel that the
British public are at last realising that the UK really
has to leave the EU if we are to have a real democracy."
|
|
Denis Cooper |
"Well done!
Let's get as many leaflets out as possible."

Charles Cresswell |
"I support the

"I totally agree with Better
Off Out."
|

Matt Davies |
"I
am 100% behind your campaign and salute the MPs who put country before
career and signed up to it. I will do all I can to support this
effort."
|
|
John Dearing |
"I voted yes
in the 1975 Referendum but began to turn euro-sceptic
when I saw how the government's policy on the
shipbuilding industry for which I worked in the
1980s was largely dictated to by Brussels. What
is needed is a simple free trade association
with no political ties."
|
|
David Demaine |
"I strongly believe
the UK should withdraw from the EU and remain a member of just the EEA.
That way we can continue to trade freely with Europe, but not be ruled
by Brussels.
Norway and Iceland are members of the EEA, but not the EU.
According to the UN Human Development Survey of 2005 Norway has the
highest standard of living in the world, with Iceland coming in
second - this to me speaks volumes! I believe one of the main
reasons that Norwegians vote against the joining the EU, is that it
would interfere with their high standard of living. It is
interesting to note that UK has a much larger economy than the those
countries, yet we only have the 18th highest standard of living in
the world. This maybe something to do with huge amounts of
cash we pay into the EU, getting relatively little in return."
|
|
Oliver Diggle |
"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign." |
|
Marc Dunkley |
"Having been only
a year old in 1975, I have had absolutely no say whatsoever in who
should govern Britain? Admittedly, both my parents at the time
(together with countless others) had been deluded into supporting
what they were led to believe was nothing more than a Common Market
trading agreement that would not in anyway impinge on our national
sovereignty. Needless to say they were lied to. In fact no one
currently under the age of 49 has ever been able to vote in such a
referendum, even though this age group has a huge stake in the
future of our country. After all, if Norway and Switzerland
can prosper outside of the European Union, then why can't a country
with the world's fifth largest economy whose EU counterparts earn
far more out of trading with us than we do out of trading with them?
Yet it appears increasingly obvious, in spite of the French and
Dutch 'No' votes last year on the proposed EU Constitution, that
Eurofederalist politicians are still intent on pushing ahead with
ever deeper political union in the hope of securing themselves a
seat onboard the 'Euro gravy train'. All this at a time when the
European Union is becoming more illiberal, more bureaucratic, more
costly to finance, and owing to enlargement - even more remote.
Certainly we need a referendum, not on the Constitution but on
membership itself. From that I could say Britain would be BETTER
OFF OUT!"
|
|
Peter Dunn |
"I have long
thought that the E.U. is an undemocratic,
wasteful and anti-British institution.
Would that we could have a referendum on
withdrawal, with the cost (not only economic) of
British membership honestly debated. It
might even begin to remove the apathy of present
day voters to our political campaigns if voters
felt that there was any point in voting in a
British campaign that was not automatically
subject to approval by our European masters."
|
|
Graham Eardley |
"There must
be something better for us
British subjects than the
European Union - this
organisation which year
after year fails to have its
accounts passed by its own
auditors, because of
match-funding fiddles by
unscrupulous national
governments and other
accounting errors;
that interferes with every
aspect of its citizens'
lives and has plans to quell
dissension by making plans
that any criticism against
will be against the law;
that once a month has to
move its parliament from
Brussels to Strasbourg at
its taxpayers' expense; that
has all but tried to kill
off British farming through
the CAP and the Fishing
Industry through the CFP.
And there is something far
better - it's called the
sovereign United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern
Ireland."
|
|
Sir George Earle |
"As a UKIP man, I was
greatly encouraged when I first heard about the BOO campaign in early
May. I wish it every success and in particular I wholeheartedly
support our Leader Nigel Farage's pledge reported on your website."
|
|
Judith East |
"I
support this long
overdue call for us to
leave the EU."
|
|
David
Elliott |
"The EU is of little if
any benefit to the
British people. If our
politicians cannot or
will not see that then
they should resign and
stand for election in
any other EU country of
their choice as they
choose not to represent
the British people."
|
|
Bud Ellis |
"The
sooner we get out of the EU the better.
Adolf must be laughing his head off as
everything he wanted to do to Britain
has already been done by Parliament.
Treason is the name of the game, combine
that with criminals running the show and
you arrive at the result we now have.
Anarchy rules supreme."
|
|
John Elton |
"I
support the BETTER OFF OUT campaign - without a shadow of a doubt!"
|
|
M. R.
Emmett |
"The EU as presently constituted is a top-down, centralized,
undemocratic, wasteful, bureaucratic and protectionist organisation
which is costing this country dear. Moreover it will be
increasingly expensive following Blair's cave-in in December 2005.
Citizens of this country have been very poorly served by all their
political leaders. This is typified by Kenneth Clark's cheerful
admission some years ago that he had never read the Maastricht
Treaty. By contrast the French have been much more fortunate: their
politicians have successfully striven over the years to ensure that
the EU rules are entirely to their benefit. It is high time to
leave."
|
|
Colin Evans |
"We know and
they know that we know, it is a sham! A very
costly sham for Britain.
Who in their right minds would want to be in any
way
associated with, let alone governed by, the
Continental Corruption Club. With fingers
in pies, exorbitant expenses, luxury jollies,
jobs/pensions for life and freedom from
prosecution, they must think the gravy train
will never stop . . . But more and more
people of this great nation are DETERMINED to
derail the monster."
|
|
Trevor Farrer CBE |
"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign." |
|
John Faulkner |
"I don't object to the
European Union in principle, there are arguments for and against - what
I strongly object to is that Ted Heath invited us to vote in a
referendum about a Common Market, not a European Union! That deception
ruins any pro-European argument. Let's have a real debate and a real
referendum." |
|
Lady Fieldhouse |
"The Better Off Out
campaign is firmly
resonating with the
British people, who are
sick and tired of the
on-going loss of our
sovereignty, and seeing
European Union laws
taking precedence over
our own laws. At
last they are expressing
their anger and I am
sure that a referendum
now would produce a vast
majority for withdrawal.
The billions we spend on
useless EU projects are
desperately needed for
our own failing public
services, such as the
National Health Service
and education. Let
us put Britain first,
again."
|
|
Mark Fletcher |
"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign." |
|
Peter Fluck |
"I support
the BETTER OFF OUT campaign and, as a
Conservative, congratulate my party's MPs who offer
their support. A far better way of countering a
loss of votes to UKIP than, in my opinion, insulting
the latter's voters on the radio."
|
|
Roger
Foster OBE FCIOB |
"It has long been my personal
view that we should get out and
govern ourselves - as we did very
successfully for centuries - and not
be ruled by those who only want to
be seen to be in the European
Commission organisation or taking
part in the organisation for their
own personal benefit. Involved
in development work as a consultant,
I find some of the new regulations
of the European Union just copied
into our regulations without full
examination by our so called
government are really doing nothing
good for the construction industry
and only causing prices to rise."
|
|
Jo Fowler |
"You have my wholehearted
support for your campaign to put
an end to our membership of the
badly run, economically corrupt
EU. I am particularly
incensed to learn from "Dave"
that we are not even thinking of
leaving the EPP before 2009."
|
|
Idris Francis |
"I first realised the EU was doomed
- in economic terms - in 1991 - when
I heard they planned to make working
more than 48 hours a week a criminal
offence. Everything I have
learned since then, in thousands of
hours of study and meetings, serves
only to emphasise that view.
But it is also doomed in terms of
democracy - there isn't intended to
be any - and popular dissent.
It is increasingly obvious that
people across Europe have had it up
to here with the EU, and that the
only
safe place to be is outside the last
gate of the prison as it is slammed
shut."
|
|
Edward Franklin |
"We must leave this so
called common market and take our country back, out of the hands of
unelected free-loaders. Please save our country."

Annabelle Fuller |
"I support the BETTER OFF OUT
campaign"

John Gallon |
"Politicians
express their concern that the general public have
become disengaged from the political process.
They cite the poor turn out in local and national
elections as evidence. I believe if the
question of continued European Union membership was
addressed to the nation directly the response would
indicate a huge interest in the governance of
Britain."

"I definitely support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign. From under the Babylonian
Tower!"
|
|
John Gouriet |
"Thirty years ago, as
those who have seen Tory! Tory!
Tory! on BBC2 recently will be
reminded, the National Association
for Freedom (now The Freedom
Association) was leading and helping
to win the battle against leftwing
extremism that was threatening to
subvert our nation and turn Britain
into a Soviet cat's-paw. We
were in the vanguard and at the
cutting-edge of Thatcherism.
Today our country is in no less
danger of being swallowed up by a
new soviet – the European Union; and
once again our politicians, with few
exceptions, in all parties are
pandering to expediency, betraying
the people and failing in their
duty. Once more The Freedom
Association has stepped into the
breach. I am therefore
delighted to support its latest
initiative, combining with others
whenever bad men associate, to
promote a national petition in
favour of leaving the EU before we
are irreversibly absorbed, if as
seems certain it cannot be reformed
to Britain's satisfaction. We
are indeed 'better off out'!"
|
|
Adrian Grant |
"I've just spent a
chunk of my lunchtime catching up on the eurosceptic www. I was
horrified to find that the ridiculous proposal to force us to use car
headlights at all hours has been passed by the Euro-'parliament' and
that as usual our 'Government' is powerless to oppose it, despite their
obligation to do so given that they themselves state that it will cost
lives in the UK. It's yet another example of the way in which the UK is
no longer a self-governing state. Furthermore – why have we heard
so little of the headlights issue in the media? Oh yes – because
they’re all pro-EU and won’t give coverage to anything that shows the EU
in a bad light!
I have been opposed to the EEC/EC/EU since I was first able to
understand politics. I have never had any opportunity democratically to
express an opinion on the EU as the only referendum was held before I
was born, let alone old enough to vote (and concerned a trading group,
not a political body). At least I am able now to vote UKIP at every
opportunity! Keep up the good work!

John Grant |
"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign." |

"Why the
Conservative
elite continues
to believe in
this corrupt and
ailing club I
fail to
understand.
For years it has
been abundantly
obvious that we
would be better
off out.
Congratulations
to those
inspired to
launch this
campaign!"

Derek Green |
"I voted to enter the
Common Market as it was described by Ted Heath as a free trade area
which would NOT affect our sovereignty. He lied. It is becoming
like a boa constrictor. We MUST get out before we have our
independence squeezed out of us." |
|
Duncan Green |
"Common trading market YES.
Ruled by Europe NO"

Mike Hamilton |
"I
definitely support the BETTER OFF OUT campaign."
|

Dr.
Charles Hanson |
"As far as I am
concerned, this campaign
is the best thing that
has happened since I was
bamboozled into voting
in favour of the
European Economic
Community (the so-called
Common Market) in the
referendum in 1975.
I am baffled by the
deferential attitude of
the United Kingdom's
political leaders
towards the European
Union. The EU is
an undemocratic shambles
and our continuing
membership must be very
damaging to our
fundamental principles
of freedom and democracy
as well as our economy.
Surely there must come a
point at which our
misguided political
leaders understand that
we would be Better Off
Out. May the
current campaign hasten
that day."

Richard Harding |
"Peugeot at Coventry
are closing their
plant with hundreds
of British jobs
going with it.
Why? Because it is
cheaper to produce
cars with Romanian
labour than with
British. So Peugeot
are transferring
their production
from Coventry to
Romania. That
is what the European
Union means.
Some Union!
It no longer takes
much effort to
demonstrate to those
workers the cost in
their lives and the
craziness of the
European Union.
The workers of Ryton
now see the truth,
too late for them I
am afraid. Let us
encourage them to
convey the message
to the others
throughout the land
that we are far
BETTER OFF OUT!"

|
Joy Harker |
"All the many, many patriotic UK citizens who walk
the "Let's get our country back" pathway, (no matter
which group,
organisation or party they support, and whatever
their national or ethnic origins) must co-operate
with one another in order to restore our precious
democracy. Remember Gandhi's wise words -
'First they ignore you, then they mock you, then
they fight you, and then you win'. If we are
truly united in our purpose - we will stand and win.
There is no other option."
|
|
Wayne Harling |
"The European Union
stands against what students truly believe in, just that many are
un-known of the calamities that the EU causes. We want freedom in
our own lives and we want free, fair global trade"
|
|
Julian Hawksworth |
"We would certainly be "Better Off Out" of the EU. It is an
undemocratic monolith of "red tape", waste, corruption and
mismanagement. It is also costing our country billions of
pounds every year."

John Helps |
"I
support the BETTER
OFF OUT campaign."

Martin Hemming |
"I think I was perhaps
the first pure Tory to support this campaign, when I voted Labour (the
only anti-EEC party) in the 1981 Euro-Parliament elections. Many
fellow Tories who denounced me for that are now, soundly, on-side!" |
|
Mr & Mrs
RD & JBL Henderson |
"We do not
approve of the
way Europe
dictates to the
member states.
It is totally
undemocratic.
More than half
the laws of the
UK are now
diktats from
Brussels and
simply bypass
Parliament.
A lot of these
laws from
Brussels are
unconstitutional
yet our so
called
government
rubber stamps
them. We
feel the UK is
better off as an
independent
sovereign
nation."
|
|
Paul M. Hendry |
"I voted against
entry to the EEC in
1972 because I saw
that it would lead
to a superstate - my
prognosis then has
been confirmed by
events. I much
regret that there
has not been a
greater cross party
agreement to alert
the British public
as to the true
nature of what is
happening."
|
|
|
"Britain should
stop adopting
rules and
regulations from
Brussels
forthwith. The
people of this
country voted to
be part of a
European Common
Trading party,
not a European
super state
ruled by
faceless
bureaucrats in
Brussels. We
need to keep
governments we
can vote in and
vote out as we
the people of
Britain feel
fit. This
country is
losing its
sovereignty
without a shot
being fired."
|
|
Stephen Hoffman |
"I support the BETTER
OFF OUT campaign. Before I thought Britain had to stay in the EU,
as a requirement so they wouldn't be blacklisted by other EU nations.
However now I see to see this as not true, the EU is a barrier to free
trade with its socialist monolith protectionist policies and we now need
to stand up to it by pulling out. Countries like Norway and
Switzerland have never joined the EU and their economies are thriving.
The EU is undemocratic and is already trying to sneak parts of the EU
Constitution into law even though it was voted against. The EU
rules over Parliament and thus weakens parliamentary sovereignty and
thus the power of the nation state. If we don't want to lose
Britain for ever we need to pull out of this Franco-German project.
We are very much better out of the EU, what with its unfair CAP +
protectionist policies which don't just disadvantage Britain but many
third world countries across the world."
|
|
Petrina
Holdsworth |
"It is lamentable that no one in the leadership of
any of the "big three" parties are minded to stand
up for British interests. None of them want
Parliament to debate the cost/benefit analysis of
our membership because they know that to do so would
be to open the public's eyes to the shocking truth
that we would be much better off out. I
support the campaign and hope that it will act as a
meeting point for all those who aspire to get our
country back from clutches of the EU."
|
|
David
Hopley |
"I just wish to
send my 110% support that the UK must leave the EU.
Absolutely no doubt about it. We would be
millions of miles better off if we left the EU.
Then the UK Govt. could concentrate 100% on solving
the massive problems here in the UK."

"I
wholeheartedly support the Better Off Out of EU
campaign. The EU has destroyed Natural Medicine
here in the UK and our liberal market where people could
buy top level supplements and herbs, protected by
stringent food laws, has been ruined thanks to the EU
Food Supplement Directive and the Herbal Directive.
These were passed into UK law through a rigged vote
against the wishes of millions. To me as an
alternative therapist this was the absolute last straw.
I will do all in my power for as long as it takes for
Britain to disengage from this anti-democratic corporate
state."

"We somehow have to alert
the general public to what
successive governments have
done to our country, most of
them still have not got a
clue to what is really going
on, they are too busy being
"dumbed down" by all the
rubbish they watch on the
box. We should make a
citizens arrest on Blair and
all his cronies for Treason,
and hopefully they may all
see it on the TV news, that
is if the BBC decide it is
in the public interest to
show it, I wouldn't hold my
breath. The only other way
is to produce a hard hitting
leaflet with all the
relevant facts on and put
one through every door in
the country. It is almost
too late, the traitor Blair
has almost completed his
life's ambition (to totally
destroy England) but we must
up the anti, and take the
fight to him in any way we
can."

"I am delighted to
confirm my support
for your campaign.
In recent weeks and
months, the media has
reported the plans of
the European Union's
Commissioners and
officials to introduce
the Constitution by
stealth. As with
the Maastricht and Nice
treaties, the No votes
in national referenda
are to be ignored.
For the European Union,
democracy is an
inconvenience that must
not inhibit the progress
of the federalist
"Project". The
economic case for
membership has been
demolished by economists
such as Patrick Minford.
Countries outside the
EU, such as Norway and
Switzerland, are
prospering, whilst major
EU members stagnate
under the burden of
regulation. I have
been, as a loyal member
of the Conservative
Party, a supporter of
Britain's membership of
the European Union for
nearly 30 years.
Recent events, however,
demonstrate that it is
not possible to reform
the EU from within.
Britain is BETTER OFF
OUT and must provide the
necessary leadership to
build an alternative to
the EU that is based on
free trade and open
markets. Good luck
with the campaign."

the three main

certainly
aren't.
Most of us are
sick of the lies

offer the public

"I support the Better
Off Out campaign. Get us out now before it is too late and we have
lost the freedom our parents and grandparents fought and died so hard
for. "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that
good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke) "A great
civilization is not conquered from without, until it has destroyed
itself from within." (William Durant) "Never give in -
never, never, never, never, in nothing great or small, large or petty,
never give in except to convictions of honour and good sense. Never
yield to force; never yield to the apparently overwhelming might of the
enemy." (Sir Winston Churchill)

"I have great
pleasure in confirming that I wish to become an official member of the
'Better off Out' campaign. In particular, the plight of Scottish
and British fishermen has prompted me to take this step, which I have
been considering for some time. My Party's recent change of policy
with regard to the E.U.'s Common Fisheries Policy means that there can
now be no 'halfway house' of unilateral withdrawal from the CFP, so
complete withdrawal from the E.U. is now the only realistic option open
to me to protect the interests of our Nation and our British people." |

huge problems which face us. You

"There is no benefit to the UK of belonging to
the EU that we could not provide for ourselves
as a independent sovereign nation. For the
last 33 years our membership of the EU has been
hugely damaging to the UK financially,
industrially, commercially, agriculturally,
strategically, politically and legally. It
has cost the people of
this nation their rights and freedoms, their
taxes and their jobs. The only true
beneficiaries of the EU are corrupt politicians
and power-brokers by whom and for whom it has
been conceived and implemented. EU =
government by the rich and powerful for the rich
and powerful."

"Our
laws are being made by
people whom we have not
elected. That is
dictatorship. Let
us not forget
that Continental Europe
is no stranger to
dictatorship. In
the 20th century
Germany, Austria, Italy,
Spain, Portugal and
Greece have been
governed by
dictatorships with only
minimal resistance from
those governed. I
live in Continental
Europe where the
inclination to
dictatorship by the
elite still runs strong.
We are all familiar with
the reaction of the
EUrophiles to the
results of the referenda
which were held in
Holland and France.
Let us not forget that
the previous Prime
Minister of Spain
adopted a similar
reaction when the people
of Gibraltar voted
overwhelmingly against
Spanish rule.
Scratch the surface of
several of these
European democracies and
you will see the outline
of a dictatorship."

Christopher Luke |
"As a Former
Constituency Young Conservative Chairman, an English Orangeman and an
Honorary Life Member of Queen’s University Belfast Ulster Unionist
Association I wish to place on record my wholehearted support for the
Better Off Out campaign. I was born in 1967, ten years after the
Treaty of Rome was signed which laid the foundation stone for the
creation of what was then called the European Economic Community (now
simply called the European Community or the European Union) which the
United Kingdom joined when I was just five years old in 1973, without
the consent of the British people. Ever since then I have watched, with
despair, as successive British Governments (both Conservative and
Labour) have continued to surrender our national sovereignty and
independence to the EU which, in turn, has destroyed our economy and
weakened the only Union that matters: the Union of the United Kingdom of
Great Britain and Northern Ireland. As we fast approach the 300th
Anniversary of the 1707 Treaty of Union which abolished the English
Parliament and the Scottish Parliament – and established the Parliament
of Great Britain in its stead, albeit the United Kingdom Parliament (as
we know it today) did not come into existence until Ireland joined Great
Britain following the 1800 Act of Union (from whence that part of
Ireland now known as the Republic of Ireland sadly seceded in 1921) –
let all of us, whether we be English, Welsh, Scots or Northern Irish
redouble our efforts to maintain the Union of the United Kingdom and
immediately and unconditionally withdraw from the European Union our
forefathers should never have joined."

"I support the
BETTER OFF OUT campaign. As a Scottish Nationalist, I support
the right of people of distinct cultures and ethnic origin to have
the right to choose self government, if that is their wish. I
realise that the SNP speaks about working within Europe; as a member
of a free and tolerant democratic society I am prepared to accept
that the party has the right to make policy as they see fit.
However, I am reassured by the groundswell of opinion against the EU
and its corrupt culture, and snotty-nosed, greedy politicians.
The greedy, grabbing hypocrite that we know as Neil Kinnock (The
Welsh Windbag), for me encapsulates all that I despise about Europe
and its political elite. For him now to plonk his greedy arse
in the House of
Lords and speak
down his gallic nose at us plebs has just taken it to the extreme.
And the worst thing is he cannot see it. Power and money
really do scramble men's and women's brains. That is the
biggest danger, why do the EU want an Army?"

there are many who are responsible for the very unwelcome increase

"Time after time I
have given the reformers the benefit of doubt, but no longer. Labour
will not reform the EU. Don’t even ask the Liberal Democrats. Now
the Conservative Party, in its decision to abandon its plan to take
Britain out of the Common Fisheries Policy, has shown it is not serious
about change. Reform is dead as a policy. It is not credible or
believable. We’d be better off out – and if it means a grass roots
campaign to achieve it then that’s what we must do." |

Christopher Mowbray |
"The Tories need to wake up and recognise that there
is an elephant in the room of their own
making. They took us in on a lie (Heath) - and keep
us there on a lie "In Europe and not run by Europe"
(Hague) -
and are now kow-towing again, such as over fish
(Cameron). They need to accept that you cannot
co-operate with an embryonic totalitarian state to
which we contribute some £800,000 an hour, every
hour, every day, every month, every year - in return
for having our industries, such as fishing, ruined."

"As a former lawyer, I was
incensed when I learned of the effects of the
European Arrest Warrant and its undermining of
the rights and privileges I enjoyed as a

in presenting a balanced argument for EU withdrawal.
Let's hope we can discuss the issues both for and

focused and united path for the next generation."

"I was
pleased to receive your BETTER OFF OUT leaflet through
our door the other day. My wife and I are
supporters and have returned the leaflet of support.
There is enough history in this country (UK) to confirm
that we are a better unit when we stand alone on our own
two feet. The world is now conducive to global
trading and we should organise our economy around such
trading. The more information that the general
public can be given about the waste through the
extremely bureaucratic EU the sooner people will realise
that we should have no part of it."

"Sadly the 'Newcons' can not be

prospective Conservative MP should
be asked to reply in writing to the
following question; Are there any
circumstances under which you would

publish a list of the results.
Failure to reply should be counted
as a No."

"More
than 30 years ago a small majority of MPs made a
terrible blunder by voting for Britain to join what is
now known as the EU. Today, amidst widespread and
growing opposition to our membership, a new generation
of MPs is beginning to realise that to stay in would be
an even bigger blunder, and are putting their country
before Party or personal interest by supporting the Better

"The reason we
are in such a

with
ever increasing
"Stealth Taxes"
Council taxes,
reduction in

massive growth
in Crime is due
to the massive
amount of OUR
Money that is
being squandered

the EU Drain.
Nobody has
gained anything
from joining the
EU except the
politicians!
Fraud in the EU
is ever
increasing and
their finances
have NEVER been
audited!!
How long would
our Government
allow a Company
to exist without
an audit?
Would anybody
with any common
sense invest in
a Company that
had never been
audited? . . .
Yet we continue
to pour more and

crooked
